Very nice on a cold day. Serve with hot custard or vanilla ice cream on hot days.

MIX TOGETHER:

1 cup flour

...
3/4 cup milk

5 tablespoons oil

1/2 vanilla essence

3 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 cup sugar

3 tablespoons Milo

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg

SYRUP

1 cup boiling water

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons Milo

Mix all the ingredients together and pour in a greased oven-proof dish. Pour the syrup over and bake at 180 deg C for approx 30 minute.
