Please use ripe or overripe pineapples for this recipe. Delicious served ice cold!! drunken

• 1 pineapple
• 4.5 litres cold water
• 1.2kg white sugar
• 15ml ground ginger

Grate or mince the pineapple, peel and all. Add to the water. Add the white sugar and ginger and mix well. Cover and leave to ferment at room temperature, or in a warm place for 24 hours. Strain the beer through a clean cloth, pour into bottles and cork. Chill in the fridge. The longer it’s kept, the better it tastes!!
