Serve with lashings of butter and mature cheddar cheese. This is delicious served with the AUBERGINE & CHICKEN STACK recipe just posted.
• 240g nutty wheat flour
• 240g brown flour
• 5ml teaspoon caraway seeds, toasted
• 5ml teaspoon salt
• 10ml teaspoons brown sugar
• 7ml bicarbonate of soda
• 500ml natural yoghurt
• ¾ cup sultanas or raisins
• Sunflower seeds for sprinkling on top
Preheat oven to 180c. Combine all the ingredients, mix well and spoon into a greased loaf tin. Sprinkle sunflower seeds on top and bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted into the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
