I made this ribs and they are absolutely delicious. Meat falls off the bone. Marion's Kitchen. You can use any sauces that you like, it is the cooking method that makes the ribs so tender.
Heat oven at 120c.
½ cup hoisin sauce
½ cup ketchup
½ cup chilli sauce or any spice sauce you prefer
Salt the ribs - I just added soy sauce so the other sauces
1kg rack of pork spare ribs, cut into individual ribs
Mix the sauces together in a bowl. Reserve ¼ cup of the sauce. Coat the ribs with the remaining sauce. Transfer to a foiled lined baking tray. Cover with another piece of foil and seal the bottom and top pieces for form a tight foil bag. Cook in a preheated oven for 2 hours.
Remove ribs from oven. Turn up the heat to 200c. Place ribs on a clean baking tray. Baste the ribs with remaining sauce and bake uncovered for 5-10 minutes or until the edges of the ribs are just starting to char. I turned the ribs half way.
So good.
