DOUGH
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
...
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons bicarb of soda
2 teaspoons alt
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
2 teaspoons vinegar
1 cup apricot jam
2 cups milk
30 ml muscadel
SAUCE
2 cups cream
1 cups sugar
1/2 butter
30 ml muscadel
Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
Sift all the dry ingredients together.
Mix the non-dry ingredients together.
Combine the two mixtures slowly until smooth.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
Boil the sauce ingredients together until sugar and butter has melted.
Pour over pudding and serve.
