When boiling pototoes put a drop off oil in the waterthis will allow you to boil more strongly and also cut down on evaporation as it forms a thin layer on top of water, also when making mash or cream potato put in ine diced parsnip to make a sweeter mix when mashed

Thank you Terry, some good tips and I really like the parsnip idea. Will try that soon. Roasted parsnips are delicious too!!
