PLEASE TAKE NOTE ..... THIS IS A MUST READ!!!!

Should your chip pan, or any other pan catch alight while cooking, remain clam and place a damp cloth over the pan. This will cause the fire to die down.

NEVER, EVER though water onto the fire, it will explode immediately. Never through sugar or flour on a grease fire. One cup of either creates the explosive force of two sticks of dynamite.
